✨ August Product Updates

This month goes deeper on categories. The platform now reflects up to six levels of your retailers' category taxonomy across Sales Pulse and Sales Decomposition. The Dashboard gets a new Category Level selector so you control the aggregation that drives your analysis. The ten-category cap in the Dashboard is lifted. Store Control Analysis at Campaign level now lets you pick exactly the promoted products you want to compare. And product codes (barcodes, other codes) from retailers are now appended and preserved, so no identifier is ever lost.

🗂️ Deeper Category Hierarchy: Report Across Up to Six Levels

Your retailers structure categories six levels deep. The platform now keeps up.

Category hierarchy support has been extended from Level 3 to Level 6 + Last Level Category across all reporting areas:

  • Filters: Levels 4, 5, and 6 are available as category filters. Only levels the retailer actually provides appear.

  • Dimensions: Levels 4, 5, and 6 are available as dimensions wherever Levels 1-3 are currently supported.

  • Cascading logic: Selecting a parent level narrows the available values for all child levels automatically.

  • Applies across Sales Pulse and Sales Decomposition.

The impact:
✅ Drill through the retailer's real product taxonomy, not a truncated version of it
✅ Richer dimensions and Saved Views for granular category analysis
✅ Clean filter experience: levels only appear when the retailer provides them

🎛️ Dashboard Category Level Selector: Your View, Your Rules

The Dashboard always showed categories at their deepest level. Now you decide how deep to go.

A new Category Level selector in the Dashboard lets you choose which hierarchy level drives all category-based widgets at once:

  • Applies across Category Performance section

  • Available options adapt dynamically to the retailer: a 3-level retailer sees Levels 1–3 + Last Level; a 6-level retailer sees the full range.

  • Default remains Last Level Category. Existing users see no change unless they switch.

The impact:
✅ Analyze categories at the aggregation level that fits your reporting objective, not just the most granular one
✅ Every Dashboard widget stays synchronized to the selected level
✅ Zero disruption for existing workflows: opt in when ready

📋 Dashboard Categories: See Beyond the Top Ten

Ten was never the whole story.

Dashboard category views now surface more than 10 categories via a load-more control at the end of the list. Your full category picture is available without leaving the Dashboard.

The impact:
✅ Full category visibility, not an arbitrary top-10 cut
✅ The complete picture in one place, faster

☑️ Store Control Analysis: Multi-select Promoted Products at Campaign Level

Comparing one product at a time was never enough. Now pick exactly the set you need.

At Campaign level in Store Control Analysis, product selection now supports multi-select:

  • Choose any combination of promoted products and the chart updates to reflect your selection.

  • Previously limited to all products or a single product at a time.

The impact:
✅ Compare the performance of specific product combinations without running separate analyses
✅ Faster, more targeted store control insights at the campaign level

🏷️ Smarter Barcode & Other Codes Management: Every Code, Always Preserved

When retailers send updated Barcode or Other Codes values for an existing product, the platform now appends the new codes to the existing list rather than ignoring them:

  • All existing Barcode and Other Codes values are retained. New values are added alongside them.

  • Duplicate codes are not added twice.

  • Historical codes remain visible and accessible at all times.

The impact:
✅ No retailer-provided identifier is lost when a product's codes are updated
✅ Complete code history available for matching and data integrity
