Product Positioning Metrics & Targets

What are they?

eRetail Content’s Product Positioning is redefined to include not only your performance on the digital shelf but become your reporting framework.

In Product Positioning, you can now create your groups of high-level metrics, your targets for metrics, and your performance on your goals. This means that your performance is now determined based on the threshold you decide on, giving you complete control over how you define success.

What can you do with them?

  • Get a performance overview using the color of the topline metrics in the Dashboard. Red metrics are alerting, orange ones are warning, and green are successful.

  • Click on the red and orange topline metrics, and view your results per sub-metric. Which ones are also alerting (red) or warning (orange)?

  • Depending on your role, you can view the sub-metrics per retailer, category, brand, or product line*. You can change them from the dimension dropdown. Do you have any brands/categories/retailers with alerting or warning metrics?

  • For the metrics that are alerting or warning click on the arrow on the right of each row, to view the alerting or warning products. The products will be found on the All Products screen.

  • Take corrective action for all the products with alerting metrics. Sort the all products table by each alerting metric to view the relevant alerting products.

  • Filter, export, and share those products with the key responsible to strategize on your next steps.

  • Create a saved filter with your alerting products to come back and view their performance improvement in due time.
