🚀 New Metrics for Campaign Performance Analysis: Top 5 Visibility Score & Average Position

We're excited to introduce two powerful new metrics in Marketing Impact to help you assess the effectiveness of your campaigns and fine-tune your strategy! 🎯

🆕 1. Top5 Visibility Score

What It Does:

  • Measures how well a product gained premium visibility during a campaign by appearing in the top 5 positions (1-5).

How It’s Calculated:

  • The Top5 Visibility Score is calculated daily by factoring in the product's position before the campaign (organic) and during the campaign (sponsored), along with the ad impressions and category pageviews where the product was displayed.

  • Scores are normalized to represent the visibility impact for both the running and compare periods of the product shown in the first 5 positions (score 100%).

Why It Matters:

  • A higher score means your campaign's promoted products got extra visibility attracting more customer attention, due to the campaign.

  • Highlights your campaign’s efficiency in improving product presence in key positions.

🆕 2. Average Position & Its Evolution

What It Does:

  • Tracks the average position of a product in category listings for both the campaign period (sponsored) and the compare period (organic).

  • Reports the evolution: Sponsored Position (Running) - Organic Position (Compare).

Why It Matters:

  • Helps you understand how your campaign influenced product ranking compared to its organic performance.

  • A positive evolution value (e.g., +2) is better, as it shows the product achieved a higher position (closer to 1) during the campaign.
