✨ October Product Updates

This month puts you in control of how you read your data. Store Control Group Analysis now reports campaign impact in units and euros per store per week, so results finally read in numbers you work in. Around it: cross-dimension exports that give you two views of sales in a single file, and category filters that get smarter in both directions, with Customer Intelligence speaking the full category hierarchy.

🏪 Per-Store Campaign Results: Impact in Units and Euros, Not Index Points

Index points tell you who grew faster. Average sales per store per week tell you how much more each store sold.

  • Store Control Group Analysis in Marketing Impact now leads with Average sales per store per week, in units or €, across the Pre, Campaign, and Post periods. It is the new default view, and Indexed stays one click away.

    • Weeks follow the retailer’s own week definition.

  • Bars start from zero and show real values. The size of the effect is visible at a glance and easy to check against the rest of the page.

  • The Campaign Impact and Post-Campaign Impact cards switch basis with the selector. In the default view they read in units or €, so you see how much more a campaign store sold than the control trend predicts.

  • The store count is a fixed group size: your campaign’s test stores and the matched control stores. It is identical across all three periods, and stores with no sales stay counted.

  • One click from the section heading, explains when to use each view:

    • Per store / week is best when you want the size of the effect, not just its direction. That includes new or thinly distributed products and groups with different numbers of stores.

    • Indexed is best for comparing a campaign against other campaigns and measuring relative lift.

  • Your Units / Sales toggle and product scope work exactly as before, with either view.

The impact:
✅ Read campaign impact in numbers you work in
✅ See real growth on new-product launches, where a near-zero baseline can make the index mislead
✅ Check results against the figures elsewhere on the page

📤 Cross-Dimension Export: Two Dimensions, One File

Sales rarely split along one axis. Now your export doesn’t either.

  • A new Cross-dimension Export option sits in the Sales Pulse export menu, below the two existing items. The existing exports are unchanged.

  • Choose a Primary dimension, pre-filled with your report’s current grouping, and a Secondary dimension.

  • All available dimensions are offered.

  • Every metric column your report currently shows appears as a chip. Blue metrics are exported. Greyed metrics cannot be produced per combination and are left out, with the reason explained underneath.

  • The file is a tidy Excel workbook: one row per combination, no merged cells, no subtotal rows, ready to pivot..

    • It inherits your active filters, period, and compare period.

    • Metric columns keep your report’s labels and on-screen order.

  • Where one dimension simply belongs to the other (every product has one brand), the secondary is written as a regular column beside the primary. You get the same rows as a single-dimension export, with no duplication.

  • Reporting dimension now appears in the Info sheet of every export. A single-dimension export says “Brand”. A cross-dimension export says “Brand, Category”.

The impact:
✅ Replace dozens of separate exports with one
✅ Get pivot-ready data without stitching files together
✅ Know the size of your export before you generate it

🧭 Customer Intelligence: Analyze Baskets at Any Category Level

Analyzing baskets at "Level 1" shouldn’t mean hand-picking every last-level child.

  • Customer Intelligence now has Lvl1, Lvl2, Lvl3, Lvl4, and Lvl5 category filters, alongside the existing Last Level Category filter.

  • Filters work consistently with those in Sales Pulse & Sales Drivers

  • Level names follow your site’s dimension renaming, so a rename carries over automatically.

  • Select a category at any level and it expands to all of its last-level categories within your account’s scope. Every KPI, card, audience split, and tab recomputes on that selection.

  • Compare-period figures use the same expanded selection.

The impact:
✅ Analyze baskets at the category level you actually think in
✅ Get the same numbers as selecting every last-level child by hand

🔎 Smarter Category Filters: Narrow Options in Both Directions

Pick a category anywhere in the hierarchy. Every other level follows.

  • A selection at any level now narrows the option lists at all other levels, upward to the matching parent categories as well as downward to the child categories.

  • Deselect a value and the option lists it narrowed are restored.

  • With selections at several levels, each list reflects all of them combined.

  • It works for any hierarchy depth.

  • The Last Level Category filter in Sales Pulse now lists every category that holds products, whatever level it sits at.

The impact:
✅ Find the right category faster, starting from any level
✅ Stay in control: the system narrows options, you make the choices
