Εxploration is the screen including all raw information where we can drill down up to an SKU level, with a list of available metrics regarding Sell-out data, Market Shares, Promo, Price & Discounts .

On the datepicker , after having selected the period for which you want to see the data, you can activate the Compare to selection, that allows you to see the data for any period you want. --
By clicking on Filters , you can activate the filter selection, making your search more specific and targeted.

The Dimension section is about the results that you want to see in the Exploration screen. It essentially concerns the rows of the table’s results. Available Dimensions: Category, Company, Brand, Product Line or SKU.

In Filter By , you can determine the specific category, brand etc. for which you want to filter the results. Available Filters: Company, Brand, Product Line or Category.

In the Metrics section you can choose the metrics you want to view as columns in the table. The maximum limit of metrics you can select is 6 and by clicking on the ' x ' placed next to each metric, you can delete it from the table. Available Metrics: Sales Value, Sales Value MS, Units, Units MS, Volume, Volume MS, Avg. Price, Avg. Discount, Promo Packs Value%, Bundle Packs Value%.

The Exploration Chart (Tip #2) gives an overview in the form of a trendline, for any of the selected dimension and metrics.

The chart is available in daily, weekly and monthly data granularity which you can easily download in Excel by clicking the button on the right.

Click on the checkboxes to display in the chart, the corresponding lines from the table. This way, you can easily compare brands, SKUs and categories with one another. The maximum number of lines you can select is five and in order to remove one you can just deselect the checkbox.

You can use the results of the table either by clicking on Copy or by downloading them in CSV or Excel.

The table’s results are by default 10 rows. In the Show selection, you can increase the number of the results reaching up to 1.000 rows.

Last but not least! Regardless of the selected dimension, if you want to dig deeper and make a deep dive analysis in Marketing & Basket Analytics, you can do so by clicking on the icon placed to the right of the result (of each row). This will automatically transfer you to the Trend Analysis screen .
