Why does the average price I see on Sales Pulse sometimes differ from the price shown on the website or app?

The "Average Price" reported in the Sales Pulse screen is calculated for a selected period as the ratio of "Product revenue" to "Product Units sold." It's important to note that this average price may vary, especially within a single day, as a product's price can change.

For instance, we might receive transactionX with product price A and transactionY with product price B, impacting the average price for that specific product.

Moreover, during consumer orders, factors such as product discount coupons or instances where products are given for free can contribute to differences between the reported average price and the nominal price shown on the website. This dynamic pricing scenario is not uncommon and can lead to variations between the calculated average price and what a Price Tracking/Scraping tool might extract at a specific time from the website.

If you have specific concerns or questions about these variations, please don't hesitate to reach out to your Customer Success Team for further clarification.
